“Feel good music for every occasion” is not only a mantra, it is a lifestyle. Multi-instrumentalist, music composer, producer, sound engineer, educator, and actor, Phillip Graves is exceptional at his artistry. With over twenty years of professional experience, his soulful sound and giftings have been cultivated since he was three years old. Prior to becoming owner and CEO of his music production company, Phillip Graves Entertainment LLC, Phillip earned his Bachelor of Music: Jazz Studies emphasis in Music Technology from Webster University. As a native of St. Louis Missouri, Phillip is a proud graduate of Central Visual and Performing Arts High School and an esteemed artist who has performed and toured with various local, national, and international artists.

Phillip states, “I have a refreshed mind and newer perspective and awareness on life through my evolution and that is exuded in my music. My music is evolutionary, vast in its sonic palette which reflects the width and depths of my life experience and artistry. But above all, it reaches and heals the soul.” Along with serving as Director of Music for The New Church STL and Equation Church, Phillip consults with businesses and organizations to match them with talented musicians, live sound/studio engineers, videographers, singers and photographers to provide extraordinary entertainment experiences.

Phillip served as minstrel for The Muny pre-show performances four years in a row (2021-2024), as well as in 2019. Additionally in 2019, he landed the leading role as iconic pianist, composer and bandleader, Thelonious Monk in a stage play presented by, A Call to Conscience Interactive Theater for Social Change: Next to Normal: The Thelonious Monk Story written by Mariah Richardson and directed by Fannie Lebby. This performance had two sold out audiences. He embodied the same role in 2023.

In 2024, Phillip toured with Grammy award winning saxophonist/flautist Najee and also performed alongside saxophonist Tim Ries and vocalist Bernard Fowler of The Rolling Stones. Later that year, he performed with R&B superstar Johnny Gill.

Recent projects include Anita Jackson’s “Life is Beautiful" album, released in March 2024. Phillip is featured as a pianist and co-producer on the album, as well as composer and producer of two tracks on the project. Phillip also produced, arranged, and served as music director and keyboardist for LaToya Sharen’s “Still Shining, Still Becoming” Live album released in October 2025.

Phillip’s highly anticipated single “Audrey Anne,” a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, will be released on December 9th, 2025.
